AGENTS VICTORIOUS IN CHALLENGE MATCH
Posted on: Feb 04, 2015
In what looks like becoming a regular fixture, Chancerygate sponsored a recent footy match which pitted a team of Investors and Developers against a squad of Agents.
With a questionable disregard for where their fees come from, the Agents raced into a 4-0 lead with two goals from Brasier Freeth’s Tim Howling and further strikes from Adam Creighton (JLL) and Nick Hardie (Strutt & Parker).
Suffering in the near-arctic conditions, the Investors/Developers managed two consolation goals through IPIF’s Aaron Burns and David Peacock of DTZIM, but before you could say ‘you don’t know which side your bread’s buttered on’, the match had finished with a 4-2 Agents’ victory.
Chancerygate’s Amit Babbar – who played for the vanquished client-side team – commented: “Having battled it out on the pitch, the teams then enjoyed a few beers at a local watering hole and the match raised £140 for LandAid – which was certainly the best result of the day”.
A return match is in the offing…
