Chancerygate was named Developer of the Year at the latest Industrial Agents Society Awards while one of its schemes in Wimbledon also won in the Best Development under 75,000 sq ft category. The company’s 90,000 sq ft multi-unit industrial estate Lumina Park in Enfield was also nominated in the Best Multi-Unit Scheme category.
Chancerygate’s Development Director, Alastair King comments: “These awards are fantastic recognition for everything that our team has achieved this year. We’re currently developing around 350,000 sq ft of space with a further 760,000 sq ft in the pipeline. The team has grown this year and we have had tremendous success with finding sites, developing them and bringing them to market. The Wimbledon project is a good example of this”.
Following acquisition of a 1-acre site on the Lombard Industrial Estate in Wimbledon, Chancerygate secured planning permission the construction of two modern industrial warehouse units totalling 26,000 sq ft and pre-sold both units to a local occupier who will take occupation of one unit and lease out the other.
The other companies shortlisted for Developer of the Year Award were Prologis, Goodman, IM Properties and Roxhill. Alastair King is pictured above receiving the Developer of the Year Award from John Burbage.
