Chancerygate has completed the redevelopment of its one-acre site on the Lombard Industrial Estate in Wimbledon.
The project involved the demolition of the old Kodak buildings on the site and the creation of a terrace of two modern warehouses totalling 26,000 sq ft. The entire project was forward sold to the Trinitarian Bible Society who will occupy one unit and retain the other unit for leasing.
Chancerygate Development Director, Don Bailey, comments: “It was a pleasure to deal with TBS and their consultants to complete a scheme and transaction that all parties are very pleased with.
“I was pleased to be able to hand over the keys to the new owner on a project that was delivered on time and on budget.”
The scheme won Deal of The Year under 75,000 sq ft at the Industrial Agents Society Awards held in September with the judges stating they were impressed by the foresight and vision required to put the transaction together, and the collaboration of the developer and purchaser.
