Metroplex Park incorporates high standards for the health and wellbeing of tenants, including outdoor amenity space and internal visual, thermal and acoustic comfort.
Metroplex Park achieved a score of 80% for health and wellbeing under the BREEAM certification, achieving an overall excellent rating. Over 70 new trees were planted in the development, providing useful shade in the summer months alongside a small amenity area for tenants with seating and native species planting. Despite the site’s urban nature, this provides an urban greening enhancement compared to its previous use as open storage and car parking. Internally, the units met BREEAM standards for daylight, views, and both internal and external lighting levels. They also achieved high standards for thermal and acoustic performance, as well as for site security.
