Chancerygate completes in Chorley with 40% already sold

Leading industrial developer and asset manager, Chancerygate has secured another occupier at Eaton Park in Chorley in the same week that the scheme reached practical completion meaning that almost 40% of the scheme is already sold.

Agricultural, plant and machinery specialists, PV Dobson & Sons has expanded its operations taking a new 5,371 sq ft unit at the park to help service its Lancashire customers.

Eaton Point is a speculative 53,668 sq ft light industrial scheme comprising 13 units and forms part of the wider Matrix Park development, which is situated one mile from Junction 28 of the M6 and three miles from Junction 8 of the M61 in South Ribble.  Four of the units were pre- sold to national electrical wholesale distributor, Eyre and Elliston; heating, ventilation and plumbing specialists, Walker Adamson and  a local private investor.  Quoting freehold values for the park are at £115 per sq ft.

Chris Brown of Chancerygate says: “Eaton Park has proven to be a very successful scheme, attracting quality local and national occupiers owing to its strategic location close to the motorway network and a lack of high quality buildings available on a freehold basis in the area.  A further four units are under offer with a high level of interest in the remaining three units. We are very keen to undertake more developments of this nature in the North and have a number of new sites coming forward in the next six months.”

Savills and Robert Pinkus & Co are agents on the scheme.
