Leading industrial developer Chancerygate has acquired a 3.2 acre development site in Enfield, north London.
The acquisition follows the success of Chancerygate’s 92,000 sq ft Lumina Park development in Enfield last year where 11 of the 12 units were committed to buyers prior to the start of construction.
The site is located on Lockfield Avenue and is within the established Brimsdown Industrial Estate. The new project will comprise 80,000 sq ft of B1, B2 and B8 units. Units from 4,500 sq ft up to 60,000 sq ft can be accommodated on site.
Alastair King, Development Director at Chancerygate, comments: “This location is one of north London’s principle industrial and logistics hubs. Following the success of our Lumina Park scheme last year, we are happy to speculatively develop in Enfield once again where we have a proven track record. From our experience with Lumina, we would recommend interested parties get in touch as soon as possible as we are expecting high demand from owner occupiers in this location.”
Construction of the new scheme is scheduled to be complete early next year. The units will be offered on a leasehold or freehold basis through Savills and Glenny.
Savills acted for Chancerygate in the site acquisition. Glenny acted for the vendor.
