Leading industrial developer and asset manager, Chancerygate, has completed and officially launched Phase 2 of its 135,000 sq ft Business Centre in Gould’s Close, Milton Keynes with 55% of the scheme already pre-let.
The new development, opened this week by the Mayor and Mayoress of Milton Keynes, provides 47,095 sq ft in 15 high specification industrial and warehouse units which benefit from fully-fitted offices, with WC facilities and comfort cooling. The remaining units ranging from 1,900 to 3,200 sq ft are available on a leasehold basis.
The scheme achieved Practical Completion in early March when Chancerygate, working with joint letting agents Kirkby Diamond and Louch Shacklock, handed over 4 units to tenants, including Integral Powertrains Limited, Paragon Printers Ltd and beauty supplier specialist Izabelle Hammon. Occupiers that were already established on the first phase of the business centre include Screwfix, Mr Clutch, GSF Car Parts and Travis Perkins.
Chancerygate Business Centre is located off Watling Street in north Bletchley, adjacent to the A5, and is close to the MK ONE shopping centre, as well as out-of-town retailers including IKEA, B&Q and ASDA.
Victoria Mann, Asset Manager at Chancerygate, said: “We are delighted to have achieved practical completion to schedule and to have pre-let 55% of the space. This is testament to the strength of the product, demand in the market and Chancerygate’s reputation for continuing to produce good quality assets.
The development is strategically located for the major national road networks and with more businesses looking to relocate here from London or the Midlands, the M1 corridor sees a high demand for units such as these and we expect enquiries to continue to be strong.”
