Chancerygate lines up 75,000 sq ft Coventry logistics project

Leading industrial developer, Chancerygate, has purchased a seven-acre site close to Coventry airport and is planning a 75,530 sq ft logistics warehouse unit.

The C75 Coventry site is the final plot at the Pilot Business Park and is one of the strongest locations in the UK for logistics facilities. It is at the Toll Bar End junction of the A45/A46 trunk roads which link directly with the M6, M69, M45, M40, M42 and M1 motorways. The site is close to Coventry Airport, Jaguar Land Rover’s Engineering Centre at Whitley, and adjacent to the Royal Mail Coventry South distribution centre.

The single unit warehouse will have 12m clear eaves heights, a 50m yard, eight dock levellers with four level loading doors plus 4,000 sq ft of offices. It will be built to a BREEAM specification of ‘Very Good’.

Chancerygate Development Director, Tim Johnson, commented: “We are increasingly bringing forward logistics projects of greater scale, and we believe the impeccable credentials of this project and its superb location will generate strong demand in the market”.

The unit will be available to buy or rent through sole agent Bromwich Hardy and can be available in the late summer 2017.
