Construction has begun at Chancerygate’s Chelmsford Trade Park scheme in Essex.
The scheme will create 66,800 sq ft of space in eight units ranging in size from 5,005 sq ft to 12,000 sq ft. Local occupiers include Big Yellow, Saxon 4×4, VW, Topps Tiles and Halfords.
Development Manager, Amit Babbar, commented: “Situated on the Westway (A1016) with access on to the A414 for the M11 in the west and the A12 to the south, the scheme is strategically located. We are delighted to create a premier trade park in Chelmsford and have pre-let five of the nine units to the likes of Selco, Howdens, Sally’s Hair & Beauty and Saint Gobain. With significant interest in the remaining units we fully expect the remaining units to be let by the time the scheme achieves practical completion in Q4 2017”
The development is being marketed by Kemsley, Doherty Baines and DTRE.
