Demolition works start at Sidcup
Following the grant of planning consent for development, Chancerygate has begun demolition at the seven-acre Klinger Industrial Park in Sidcup.
The scheme will retain the Grade II Listed clock tower and wings of the former Klinger factory which has been pre-sold to Titan Storage Solutions for a 60,000 sq ft self-storage facility.
Chancerygate is also building a multi-unit industrial and warehousing development on the remainder of this prominent site which will encompass 107,000 sq ft of business space in 13 units. The units are being marketed for sale or lease by DTRE and Colliers International.
Klinger Industrial Park lies within a mixed commercial and industrial location fronting the busy A223. Edgington Way connects into the Crittals Corner roundabout accessing the A20. The M25 Motorway is approximately five miles to the east with Central London 14 miles to the west. Adjoining occupiers include Tesco, Coca Cola, Booker, B&Q, Selco, Lexus and Toyota car dealerships.
Development Director, Jonathan Lee, reports: “There has already been a high-level of demand for the scheme with global salon services, Sally’s having been pre-let a 3,175 sq ft unit and with strong demand for the remaining units”.
