Located in the South West of England, Furlong Park was in the ownership of the Police for the last decade. Although purchased by the Police with the intent of building a new headquarters, the site lay dormant for a decade before being placed back on the market. Attracted by the high-profile location in a fast-growing town, the site eventually sold to Chancerygate in 2017 following a competitive bid..
Before work began onsite a full archaeological dig was required due to the historical nature and heritage of the site’s location. The units were built along a staggered terrace designed with a break, along with further elements to minimize the visual impact on the landscape. Our in-house project management team oversaw the development which reached practical completion early August 2020, after a four month delay due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Furlong Park is located 3 miles to the north of Cheltenham on Cleeve Business Park. Existing local occupiers include GE Aviation, Capita Life & Pensions and Zurich Insurance.
The development consists of 11 units totalling 95,418sq ft, with 45% of the scheme sold to Northwood whilst the remaining units have been sold to the following tenants;
