Michael joined Chancerygate in 2024 as chief financial officer and has over 15 years’ experience in real estate finance. Based in Chancerygate’s London office, Michael has responsibility for financial and statutory reporting, financial analysis and fund financing and debt structuring, providing support to the business and the performance and strategy of Chancerygate funds, balance sheet assets and third-party mandates.
Prior to Chancerygate, Michael worked as finance director for PLP, a specialist UK logistics and industrial property business, where he established and oversaw the company’s finance and operations functions.
He also has held other real estate finance roles at AXA – Investment Managers, Ernst & Young and the Grosvenor Group.
Michael is a chartered accountant, a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand and holds a masters in finance degree from London Business School.
